Dear Parents,

I am happy to share some good news with you on the progress of our school and church facility.  First of all, the First Baptist Christian Academy Administrative Team (FBCAAT) is working toward expanding our school to include 7^th and 8^th grade.  The target is to add 7^th grade in the fall of 2012 with 8^th grade following the next year. Obviously a great deal of planning and work lies ahead for everyone involved.  A project of this nature is totally dependent on God, His direction and blessing.  Please know that we will be relying on your prayers and support as we move forward.

 

Second, construction will begin this week to refurbish our sanctuary.  We hope to be complete with the interior remodel by April 12^th and the exterior by May 15^th.  The construction will impact our students mainly in regard to chapel on Mondays.  Chapel will take place in the youth loft beginning next Monday, January 31^st.  I am so thankful that we have the space in the youth loft to be able to meet the needs of chapel and the upcoming ACSI Spelling Bee awards.

 

God is so very good and faithful and we have so much to be thankful for!  Please continue to pray for our school, our students, our teachers, and our enrollment.  God is at work in the hearts and minds of many.  May we be found faithful to stand for truth and to share the love of Christ with all who cross our path!
