GRADES 1-6

Our curriculum is based on textbooks from a number of publishers.  Each text has been chosen because it best represents the body of knowledge that state and national educators think appropriate for that grade level.

K-6 PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Computer Technology, Music, Art, Physical Education and Library classes are attended by all students each week.

Weekly chapel includes signing songs of praise to Jesus and saying the pledge to the American Flag, Christian Flag and the Bible.  Students pray together and hear a lesson presented by our church staff, school staff or guest speaker.

During the course of the year, students have several opportunities to perform in front of groups.  A goal of the Academy curriculum is to help students to develop confidence in their ability to communicate in various ways.  Opportunities includes Christmas and Spring musicals, Art Show, Speech & Word, Math Olympics and Spelling Bee.

During the school year each class will have one or two field trips.

FBCA partners with parents to provide students with a quality, Bible-based education that will lead students to strive for excellence in all things so that they will become Christ-like leaders in their homes, churches, work-places and communities.
