Early Childhood Admission Policies
Age Requirements
Pre-School students must turn three by July 31st of the year of enrollment and be completely potty-trained.
Pre-Kindergarten students must turn four by July 31st of the year of enrollment and be completely potty-trained.
Children must meet the age cutoff requirement - no exceptions.
Registration
Parents must provide a completed registration form, birth certificate, copy of the immunization records, completed medical information form and registration fee in order to be officially enrolled.
Two emergency contact numbers (must be local residents) are required.
The academy committee has determined a class will have ten students in Pre-School and fourteen students in Pre-Kindergarten to be considered a viable classroom. If an offered class does not meet the expected enrollment, the academy committee reserves the right to cancel the class and notify the parents of enrolled students that the class will not be offered. The Registration Fee will be returned at that time.
Student Security
Parents should select a “code name” at the time of enrollment. This secret word is used to increase security whenever you must send someone to pick up your child who is not known to FBCA Early Childhood personnel.
Please call the office to let us know you have authorized a new person to pick up your child. When that person arrives and requests your child, they will be asked for identification and the code word.
Non-Discrimination
FBCA Early Childhood admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, and other school-administered programs.
