ATTENDANCE: Students are expected to be in attendance at all times except when they are sick (as defined in the guidelines in the “Immunization, Health and Safety” section.  Student attendance is as important as grade,s because patterns of absenteeism carry over into adult life.

Please call the school office by 9:00 a.m. when your child is going to be absent.  Homework may be requested at this time.  Homework will be ready for pick-up after 3:00 p.m.

LATE ARRIVAL: If you arrive after 8:30, please park on the west side, escort your student through the west entrance to the office to sign in.  The student will be given a tardy slip and may then proceed to class.  When you sign in your child please indicate if they are bringing of buying lunch.  This helps ensure that our attendance records are accurate and adequate lunches are prepared.

EARLY PICK-UP: When you need to pick up your child before 3:15 p.m. please come to the office and sign them out.  Our office staff will call the classroom and ask the teacher to send the child to the office for early dismissal.
