Children will have 4 options for lunch: Hot Entree’, Alternate (cold lunch meat sandwich), Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich or Salad Bar (includes soup or baked potato). The hot entree’, alternate sandwich or PBJ each include the vegetable of the day plus a dessert item (fruit, cake, etc.).
- Children may buy or bring their lunch. Parents should make deposits into their child’s lunch account so that a running balance may be kept. Deposits to the lunch account should NOT be included with monthly tuition or weekly extended care. A notice will be sent home with the child when the account drops below $5.00. Each lunch tray includes 1 dink (milk or 100% fruit juice); additional drink may be purchased. If a child brings their lunch they may purchase a drink. Parents are encouraged to have lunch with their child occasionally; if you will be having a school lunch please contact the office by 9:00 a.m. to place your order.
- If you plan to bring your child a lunch, you must notify the school office in advance and arrive before the child’s classroom starts through the serving line. Please note that if your child does not have a lunch by the time the class reaches the cafeteria, we will serve him/her a school lunch and your account will be debited. We cannot wait past serving time for a lunch to be delivered.
