DAMAGE TO SCHOOL PROPERTY: Parents pay a book fee each year to cover the cost of their children’s consumable textbooks. When books are defaced or damaged to the point of being unusable, the book must be replaced at the parent’s expense. This applies to textbooks that are lost as well as library books and other media materials.
STUDENT SECURITY - CODE NAMES: Parents should select a “code name” at the time of enrollment. This secret word will be used to increase security whenever you must send someone to pick up your child who is not know to FBCA personnel. Please call the office to let us know you have authorized a new person to pick up your child. When that person arrives and requests your child, they will be asked for identification and the code word.
MAINTAIN ACCURATE CONTACT INFORMATION: Please notify the office if you move or get a new home, work or cell phone number.
TOYS AT SCHOOL: Please do not allow your child to bring toys from home. Items can be broken or lost and tears result. Another temptation is trading items with classmates and parents are rarely happy with this situation.
RELEASE OF SCHOOL RECORDS: When your child moves to another educational institution, that school will request that you give permission for FBCA to send your child’s records to them.
- Notify the office in advance of the date your child will drop from FBCA.
- After two weeks of unexplained absenteeism, the child will automatically be dropped. Parents will be required to pay for the charges incurred during the period of absenteeism without notification.
